The Cincinnati Section of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) has announced the winners of its Healthcare Quality Award.  The award is dedicated to quality improvement projects in healthcare.  All healthcare related organizations from Southwestern Ohio, Southeastern Indiana and Northern Kentucky were invited to apply. 

Applications were received from acute care hospitals, a long-term acute care hospital, a medical research company, a physician group practice, and A behavioral health board and agency.  See the link below for the applicants and their projects.

The four finalists will receive over $2,000 in cash awards as well as plaques, award certificates, gift certificates, recognition on the ASQ Cincinnati Web site and publications, and admission to the Awards Banquet.  The winner automatically qualified as a finalist for the ASQ International Team Excellence Award in 2010.
